With a background that reads like a librarian’s dream (and more than a few rabbit holes)—cultural anthropology, religious studies, archaeology, history, photography, writing, and more—I’ve spent my life chasing depth, connection, and meaning in every experience.

Your Eccentric Sister began as a place to share my love for culture-rich, deeply personalized luxury travel. After years of planning adventures for friends and family, I transformed that passion into a full-time travel service focused on creating elevated, story-driven journeys that feel personal, seamless, and unforgettable—from Japanese temple stays to expedition cruises in the Arctic.

But the written word has always been my first love. Alongside travel planning, I work as a freelance writer, crafting essays, cultural features, and client content rooted in research, personal narrative, and global perspective. My writing life is supported by Professional and graduate-level work in academic editing, project management, and ethical AI training—as well as a Master’s in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and teaching advanced English and writing to adults.
